这道题我在网上找了很久，都没有找到很convincing的答案。
我在想如果快速解题，能不能这样？
likely Manhattan上面给出的用法是it is likely that or sb is likely to do sth,我Google 了好久，也没有找到make it likely这种用法，那么通过这句型，排除ABD。
C，it无法确认指代action还是trouble。那么就只剩E了。

不知道这样理解和做题是否OK？小菜鸟求大神解答

小白2, 我的题是这样解释的。

a. makes it likely to miss signs - 这个it指代不清楚，是前面的heavy commitment 还是 an executive。排除
b. an executive (who is heavily committed to a course of action, especially one that worked well in the past) makes missing signs of incipient trouble... - an executive makes missing signs... 不符合逻辑呀, 是heavily committed to a course of action makes executive missing sign.排除
c. especially if it has worked well in the past. 这个it又指代不清楚了，是course of action 还是 incipient trouble. 排除
d. , especially if it has worked well，it是指代前面那个整个句子的话，那么后面的', makes them”又是指代谁啊。。。后面misinterpreting them的指代又是谁，就是后面好乱好乱呀。。。。。（我觉得老外不爱动脑子，所以这种都是错错错）
e. Being heavily committed to a course of action is likely to make an executive miss signs of ....逻辑通顺，没有搞来搞去的指代。

如果说得不对的地方请nn指正。
