关于曼哈顿语法的一些疑问

曼哈顿有一些用法不知道自己理解的对不对，还请各位NN帮忙看一下

1. The holiday allows thathomework (can) be done 不对

Allow that sth (can) be done不对吗,还是allow不可以与can连用？

2. My first job was anapprenticeship as a sketch artist.

书上讲这里是正确的，可是artist能当工作讲吗

3. While being a child, I deliverednewspaper.

As being a child,……..

While in childhood,……

这些是错的，怎么改才能正确呢

4. we have 10 apples,aboutequivalent to what we picked yesterday.

错在哪里了呢

5. sb has the capability ofrunning the plant.

The plant has the possibility of causing damage

1. allow to. 得有to。2. artist是个职业，就类似teacher。3. 我也晕。3.1 while和being一起，being当“作为”的意思的话，怪怪的。反正读着不对劲，一般都说when I was a child...3.2 as 和being留一个。 3.3 不会啊。刚开始看Gmat，今天也遇到4了。想了一下，如果as是做suspect功能，那4句中的about就不能跟equivalent to（绝对事实），有about应该用as，这里as有suspect的意思....吧
