看了大全和OG所有的带with的句子后（出现在划线或非划线部分），我看出这么几个规律：



对于前（后）有逗号的‘with短语’，



1. 如果是 ‘主语，with短语，谓语...’的结构：with作定语修饰主语

eg. 大全802. The peaks of a mountain range, acting like rocks in a
streambed, produce ripples in the air flowing over them; the resulting
flow pattern, with crests and troughs that remain stationary although the air that forms them is moving rapidly, is known as "standing waves."



2. 如果是‘句子，with短语（，...）’的结构：with作状语修饰谓语<v>

eg. 大全320. From the bark of the paper birch tree the Menomini crafted a canoe about twenty feet long and wo feet wide, with small ribs and rails of cedar, which could carry four persons or eight hundred ounds of baggage yet was so light that a person could easily portage it around impeding rapids



对于前后前面没标点的‘with短语’，

1. 固定搭配



2. A of B of C with短语： with作定语修饰A或B或C中合逻辑的那个

eg. 大全979. The failing of the book lies not in a lack of attention to scientific detail but in the depiction of scenes of life and death in the marine world with emotional overtones that reduce the credibility of the work.



3. 没标点的with短语（包括其他<prep>短语）决不能插在主谓之间



4.句子with短语：with修饰有歧义（主语？谓语？宾语？）

eg. 大全981的任一个错误选项，如A: The Lake Manyara Park in Tanzania affords the visitor with unequalled opportunities to photograph lions playing in trees without the aid of telephoto lenses.



对于with引导的独立主格：去掉with有逻辑主语和逻辑谓语，但没谓语动词

好！



看下争议颇多的大全958:

Those who have visited the Grand Canyon have typically seen layers of sediment in the gaping canyon, with different colors that mark the passage of time like the rings in a tree trunk.

D项句子结构：‘句子，with独立主格’ =>
有自己的逻辑主语和逻辑谓语，只起到对句子补充说明的作用，可以与主句是原因、条件、方式、伴随、时间等的关系，且逻辑上该修饰谁就修饰谁，不会有歧义
（这里是修饰主语layers）, 不和主句的任何成分有紧密联系，起个从句的作用也成



大全答案是D, 我也支持D

答案是C, C与A意思相同，但C更简洁
