这题答案选C
我想问为什么这么intend to做fund的后置定语，比【，with the intention to】好呢？

而且，NN，with的用法实在不懂，能否讲讲啊？
我搜到了这个：

1. 表示原因，此时不需要考虑逻辑主语，只是修饰前面整句
2. 表示伴随动作(非伴随结果)，此时需要注意逻辑主语，且前面不能是完成时态(这样就不能伴随动作了).（with短语要表示伴随结果则需要用with the result of，如prep2-193）.
3. 表示状态（此时前面需要是主系表），同样需要逻辑主语。

但是没有相关的题，还是不太懂，在句子里怎么应用的。

对于那个with的用法，我还跟aeo版主有点不一样...我~先试着解释下。嗯。。

intended和with the intention to，二者最大的不同在于前者是定语，后者是状语，这就引发了句子逻辑上的区别。

像CD选项，intended做定语的话，修饰对象很明显是前面的fund；而且intended用被动形式，则证明fund是被intend去做某事。而且这个intend的动作发出者并不需要指明（况且句子中也没有指明），只需知道fund被intend了即可。

但是with the intention of，本质上是状语，状语是对句子表示伴随的意思。而这样的情况，下一步导致的后果是，with the intention of后面所有的内容修饰的是主句全句，而它如果要找逻辑主语的话，会是主句主语，Alaska。但是Alaska不能有intention……

总之，状语和定语二者在句尾是不能随意互换的；在这个modifier的点上，一定要找到句子的逻辑，然后看二者的差别~

with结构。。我考之前做过一次总结，但是先辈们没有批判过。。不知道是否正确。。

因为SC部分我在刷第二遍的时候，真心就是plan用你那个方法的，刚好看到了现实成功版案例，激动~~~~ 只不过还没打算用manhattan加在里面丰富逻辑体系，今天看BY也是激动的不行（因为我没什么SC体系之前，此NN虽然仙逝了，多少年前就明白语义逻辑了

）；

but你CR和RC过于复杂了点，我就懒得看，因为SC我就足够震撼了。。。。这SC总结的得脱掉几层皮啊，能否详细介绍下你总结的时间安排啊，真的是觉得有些time consuming，一个月的孩纸有些伤不起的说。。。。

我觉得这个题不是在考with，with the intention to do在GMAT甚至英语里面是不被广泛接受的…
intention of doing sth. / intention to do sth. à GMAT中通常不用intention to do sth.而只用intention of doing sth.

额外注意点(from longman)：
!! Do notsay 'have no intention to do something' or 'not have the slightest intention todo something'. Say have no intention of doing something or not havethe slightest intention of doing something : He had no intention ofpaying me the money.
!! Do notsay 'with the intention to do something'. Say with the intention of doingsomething : He left Manchester with the intention of finding a job inLondon.

我选C的原因和你们不大一样。排除各选项之后只剩下A和C，但是A后面一部分的its指代不清。its应该指的是state也就是alaska，但是A中指的是state‘S economy。不知道是否有所帮助
