哥大硕华尔街投行中后台申MBA定位/职业规划

也发个定位帖。

英国本美国哥大硕毕业后在纽约工作华尔街投行中后台2年经验目前业余加入创业团队
GMAT还没考托福免考本科GPA很高硕士一般
申MBA主要是因为想career switch, 从技术支持类转到核心业务类，如IBD/PE/VC/consulting。请问我的情况通过MBA转换职业方向可行吗？大概能申到什么样的学校？毕业后能转到理想的岗位吗？

Gmat 考过710， GPA不低于3的话，我觉得你的背景可以申请M7，然后几个加top15作safe school。当然，根据自己做过的东西，能不能讲出故事是关键了。

转行当然是非常可行的，尤其你要去CBS or Wharton 转投行前台。

Hello there,
Well your ability to switch to PE/VC will depend on:
- the strength of your UG program
- the prestige of your current employer and job
- your performance at your current performer and job
- the transferability of your skills to VC/PE

Basically, your idea seems like a good one, and going to a good MBA (or good MF) is a great way to change your career.

Assuming you can get into top schools (Top 10ish):

PE/VC: no
IBD/Consulting: yes
