seems that this is a silly question, but I really want to make sure of it. I am a greenhand by the way.
is there anyone can tell me which one is preferable in GMAT, "be able to" or " can" ? I went to XDF, the teacher said can>be able to. but in the file that I downloaded from www..com, it said they are equal to each other.
the teachers in XDF are telling "can" is preferable, but when they don't offer can in the choices, then we have to choose "be able to", if it is offered. Well, I think it depends on the context too. that is a really cool answer. thanks, hl2006...
