如果是and连接的两个that从句平行那省略的（it）前面的that不能省 原句：A new study suggests that the conversational pace of everyday life may be so brisk it hampers the ability of some children for distinguishing discrete sounds and words and, the result is, to make sense of speech. D （that it hampers the ability of some children to distinguish discrete sounds and words）, and results in not making 现在是results只能与suggests平行，而and后面句子的变成了A new study results in not making sense of speech,这样也就是D的解释里面的removing the children from the picture as the ones who are affected
so brisk that it hampers the ability of some children to distinguish discrete sounds and words, andresults in not making sense of speech.
