关于 v+ing和 v 修饰的问题

这道题目很容易就可以排除只剩下 A 和 D, 我的问题是 Covering 71 percent of Earth’s surface 和The oceans cover 71 percent of Earth’s surface,在整个句子中语义有什么不同，如果把 D 选项的 moderate 改成 moderating，符合平行的要求，是不是 D 的语义要比 A 更好，理由是 oceans cover 用一般现在时态表示客观的事实！

1. 我覺得 Covering 71 percent of Earth’s surface 和The oceans cover 71 percent of Earth’s surface 語意沒有不同

2. 就算把D的moderate改成moderating跟後面平行,但是你前面這樣是錯的：
The oceans cover..., play... 這樣是run-on, 兩個動詞中間沒有連接詞

3. 根據ron神的說法：不要嘗試去修改錯誤句子然後問說這樣可不可以當正確句
這樣很容易走火入魔, 只要知道這個錯誤選項為什麼錯, 就可以了~

看到run-on茅塞顿开，也非常感谢复习的提示，因为一直担心没有把语法里的细节搞清楚，所以重新刷 OG 的时候格外小心了。
