请教一个语法题（2000－5－28）Zeros修改标题，见谅！

A liquid that might be a poor conductor when pure is often used
to make solutions that readily transmits electricity.

A be B when pure C to D transmits

答案是D.但是B当中的pure是形容词,不能单独作主语的.如果是when the prue 应该还是可以的.

请教大家,为何B是对的呢?

that readily transmits electricity修饰solutions，它是复数，所以应该是transmit，个人意见

这句话when后省略了it is, 实际上它是一个修饰conductor的定语从句，所以没有错。应该选D
