PREP 12的答案是这样说的
在 (A)(B)(C)中，由于语法上的省略，所以拥有 any other cultural grouping 的是 each of the states；在(D)(E)中，拥有 any other cultural grouping 是 they（five sovereign states）
可以这样理解 each of them指代的主语都是复数，each of wich 指代的主语都是单数吗？

好像不是这个意思。答案的解释应该是在说they带来了语义上的歧义，变成each和nordic neighbors的bond 比较 five states和other cultural grouping的bond。

each of which/each of them都是单数形式。
