这道题the others指的是另外两本小说，ACD里面错误的把the others指成了人。

为什么不能指代人呢？它紧接着americans啊？

这要根据语意来看。原句的重点是书，而不是作者。

即使不讨论语意，我们只看语法。A里面的the others，适用于把所有能举得例子都举出来的情况；因此，A的意思就变成了只有三个美国黑人，另外两个是RW和RE。如果不能把全部的例子都举出来，要用include。
