conceive的用法错了，没见过用conceive of sth to be的结构。

一般都是conceive of (doing) something；conceive that；conceive of something/somebody as something；conceive what/why/how etc；conceive sth.

另外，other than应改为rather than，意为“而不是…”，而不是“除了。。以外”
