When it comes to whether students should come to school early or late, many people believes that students should come to school early, since they'll spend more time on learning. Although their oninion seems to be plausible, those people has ignored two important issues.
In the first place, starting school day early will earge students get up early, which will make them less energetic in the following day. In their school time, people are in the pariod of growing. If students don't have enough sleep time, they will tend to be less sleepy during days, and would not be able to focuse on their studies. According to a study of John Hopkins University, when the students in a class were urged to come to school early in the morning, they not only didn't have a better grade, but also tend to be more tired in classes. Thus we can conclude that starting school early won't make students study better.
In the second place, starting school day late does mean that students will have less time on studying, for you cannot rely on studens studing themselves, however it will help them to be completely relexed and get more ready for classes. They can use that time sleeping, taking a shower, having some exercise with their families, spending some time on their unfinished homeworks, or practiceing pianos for a little bit. According to a survey focused on the study skills, 90 pecent of the top students who were surveyed admitted that they will be more efficient when they are relexed. Thus if the students get fully relexed, certainly they will have a higher efficiency.
To be concluded, although starting school day late may not be able to let students study better, it can help them be more efficient and have right study habbit. In the contrast, starting school day early not only is bed for students to handle efficient study skills, but also is bed for their growing.
