Topic:  Do you agree or diagree with the following statement?

School shouldn’t require students to do homework.

Doing homework is the key to success in school. It helps the students to review what they have learned. But with all the extracurricular activities nowadays, they may not have enough time to complete their homework. I belie if one understand thoroughly of all the material contain in their homework, they do not need to repeat the process by go over the homework. 你是夸HOMEWORK 呢还是贬它呢?Hence, schools shouldn’t require students to do homework. 极不合理,你前面明明是在夸HOMEWORK啊.怎么能用它的优点来批判它呢?

Life can be very stressful, so the less pressure applies to the student the better. As a high school student myself, I know a lot of pressure can have many negative effects. when the teacher told the class to hand in something, I am more concerned about the getting the homework done rather than learn form it. On the other hand, I am not require to hand in the homework, I will definitely slow down and learn more from the homework. ?????

Secondly, the working schedule for the student STUDENTS can be much more flexible, thus giving the student more time to understand the material(S). I am currently enrolled in the IB program. This program does not require the student to hand in their homework. So, if I am busy one night on one subject I could just get it done without worrying about finishing my other homework. This way I will be more productive and efficient.

While some people may argue that the lazy student may never do their homework, the parents are responsible to talk their child and check their homework everyday. If this kind of students is required to hand in their homework, they could copy other people’s homework, thus not benefiting from it.

In conclusion, it is evident that the students shouldn’t be required to hand in their homework simply because it is way more efficient productive and beneficial for students.
