下面是之前找到的讨论内容。。不过没有涉及到我的问题。。

among them the threat of a rival’s multibillion-dollar patent-infringement suit and the decline in sales of the company’s powerful microprocessor chip.
后半句是独立主格的一种用法（Nominative Absolute Construction)
即 ‘名词+介词短语’做独立主格
但由于名词部分过长，因而独立主格结构中又使用了倒装，把among them提到了前面，them指代numerous challenges.

D答案还原后 sales of the company’s powerful microprocessor chip，不是犯了of + 所有格的大忌了吗？白勇和PREP语法笔记都提到这种形式是错误的

-》如果是sales of the company’s ，说公司的销售，那就错了
但这里是sales of the company’s powerful microprocessor chip，说的是公司的chip的销售，对的

used to say that you are only mentioning one or two people or things out of a much larger group:

改了还是不对
B中的which容易让人误认为是指代之前的company的，造成歧义
且 threat 的固定搭配应该为the threat of sth. 或者the threat from sb.所以这里的from也错
sale的搭配应该是of而不是for

2,B中的the threat of 和 declining sales 不平行对称，一个是threat一个是sales，逻辑不对，正确选项应该是the threat of 和 the decline in

AB语义也不对挑战包括威胁和下降
并不是威胁和销售
