要炸了！还差一封推荐信，可以找其他学校的教授要么？

这学期只要到了一封，教授人很好，让我写draft他再添点好话修改一下。但之前高GPA课的教授要么说自己忙要么不回邮件。所以我在想可不可以找其他学校的教授写推荐信，是中国人，算是家里人的朋友，以前跟他聊过很多学业的问题，但是专业不相关，请问可以让他来写么？还有就是如果可以让他写的话，不知道怎么切入，毕竟没有学术上的联系。

请赐教，感谢各位！

Hello there,
Are you referring to an LOR for an MBA or for another program? First of all, if it’s for an MBA, then you should be getting your LORs from employers. If it’s another program than an academic LOR is great, but they will expect some real contact with them - taking a course, running a program, working as a research assistant…. something!!
