manhattan对E的解释是(E) The verb “to rise” is an irregular verb. The simple past tense is not “raised,”but rather “rose.”
我觉得这里是有方向上升为什么不能用raise 求大神解答~~！！

raise:及物动词。意思是to increase in number, amount, or value；
e.g The university is working to raise the number of students from state schools.
rise:不及物动词。意思是to increase in number, amount, or value. 经常搭配 from..to使用
e.g The research budget rose from £175,000 in 1999 to £22.5 million in 2001.
根据题目中from to判断判断应该是使用rise的过去时，rose..
