should I go for MBA?

I just finished GMAT (770), and now I am very confused whether I should go to school for MBA?

I am working as a software engineer for 5 years in U.S.  Because I did not see any hope to be  promoted into management position, I opened a small IT company last year and worked for it part time. Most of my friends go for MBA /finance in order to make more money, however, I only want to learn more management skills so that I can make my own business work and if my business fails, I could find a management position in IT industry.

Do you think it is worth the money and time to get a MBA just for that goal? I am a female and near my thirties. It is a big decision for me and my familty. Any suggestion is welcomed.

As I know, it is hard for MBA with non-finance major to find a job in U.S., especially for minority. That is my another concern. Does anybody here know more about it?
