我选B，答案是D。这样的话句子不是有俩个动词了吗？

不明白，如果是句子做主语这样解释呢？但是B的 besides放入也通吧。请指教

是没有连词的，看了答案确实也是D。是96年8月的第二部分的第14提。

Just my minute opinion,

ETS 不太會出完全無頭無尾的答案
like, (c) us a ----> 應該只有 --> a
tendency is a [countable], so it needs a/the/my... before it.

(c) us a ,still is possible from ETS
I don't see the word "demonstrate".
Someone might mistakenly think that "demonstrate sb sth".

这个题印错了！
C是 is a; D是its。所以答案应该是D，做宾语同位语。

因此，以后如果有类似问题，最好能注明出处，以便于查阅。
