Some questions about 刘振民语法

It says:

"become more and more successful" is better than "become increasingly successful"

"allow sb to continue sth" better than " allow sb the continuation of sth"

But I don't think it's the case, both are equal in my opinion.

一切以简洁为主啊,有简单动词的时候,一般不会用到名词

还有就是,这是gmat的语法规则,习惯了就好~~~相信你还会碰到更多

As I can recall,  both "become increasingly successful" and "allow sb the continuation of sth" are commonly used, sometimes in business news.
