1/ doubtful trial. Do the patients in the trial have other diseases? Are they representive of all migraine headaches patients?
2/ the author only focus on the side effects of this medicine and fails to provide any evidence to support that the new medicine is effective in treating migraine headaches. Unless the author provide further evidence, his conclusion that Mi-Quell should be used to treat migraine headaches for up to six months is meaningless.
3/ assumption: the fact that researchers observed no significant side effects during the first five months is insufficient to guarantee the safety of this medicine in this period. There might be invisible side-effect and will bring about healthy problems to the patients later in their life.
4/ no evidence is provided to prove that the accidents are due to the side-effects of this medicine. |
