我觉得这题的考点在:
1. 主语的选择, 用MASS OR STAR, 从句意上用MASS 更简单, 有力, 因为用V-DETERMINE
  事实上A 中DEPENDING 的主语应是前面的正句话意思, 而不是STAR.

2.状语的问题, 在A中, AFTER 之后的IT 指代有问题, STAR OR BLACK HOLE?  DEPENDING 修饰AFTER... 还是 主句? AFTER 做整句的状语是不妥的;

A的问题很多，从结构上来说这种带有代词（且指带主语）的时间状语从句一般放在句首
；从细节上，分词的用法很灵活，这种用法讲的通但是精确程度上，没有D好。如果没有D，A把时间状语的问题解决了，A就是答案。
