首先这道题的最后半句我并没有太理解它的意思;其次BC都是符合语法规则的，为什么B是对的而C错了？求解释

C.they lose one arm they quickly replace it, with the animal sometimes overcompensating,

接下来是一组对比题：
758.Prices at the producer level are only 1.3 percent higher now than a year ago and are going down, even though floods....
B.than those of a year ago and are going down....
这里比较的对象是prices now和prices of a year ago
772.Heating-oil prices are expected to be higher this year than last because refiners...
同样感觉的两道题这道题却选的是A 也就是说比较对象是this year和last year省略了主谓；然而我认为这里有歧义这里为什么不是than that of last year呢？而上一道题 a year ago就必须加those of 求解释

765. 首先C选项应该是 C.they lose one arm they quickly replace it, sometimes by the animal overcompensating 这个我觉得和B的区别就是方式状语和伴随状语的区别；B的意思是one arm被replaced有时伴随着过度补偿和growing（独立主格也是状语哈）；C中by是方式状语，意识是fish replace （arm）通过过度补偿（并）伴随着growing，意思就不对了啊，鱼替换胳膊不是通过过度补偿来替换的，只是有时有他们替换的时候会发生过度补偿多长一两个胳膊；

758和772就是状语的比较，状语是修饰动词的。
Prices at producer level are only 1.3 percent higher now than a year ago比较的是状语now和a year ago意思是（现在地）price are 1.3 percent比（去年地）price are 1.3 percent高，但逻辑意思应该是比较的现在的价格和去年的价格，即are 1.3 higher是一个整体固定，price now比price a year ago are 1.3 higher

Heating-oil prices are expected to be higher this year than last 比较的是油价被期望在今年和油价被期望在去年，如果是Heating-oil prices are expected to be higher this year than last‘s prices就变成prices this year than last’s prices are expected to be higher
