OG的解释看的我晕晕的。这句话结构，指代是什么。希望NN解答，一下摩洛哥，一下法国，我连主语都没找到。。。

affording..做主句的伴随状语，主语是Morocco，because做主句的原因状语从句。
B中it应该指的是Morocco，而their指的是French（人）他们的，注意：
A be of interest to B：B对A感兴趣
A be of interest in B：A对B感兴趣
另外，请注意if x happened, then y would happen条件式
副词also，在没有连词的情况下单独出现（这样的结构很常见）
without / but for(=except for) + n. 含蓄条件句
