我想问E中allowing的主语我的理解是sentences对吗?

更疑惑的是E在句中不用which allow而用allowing 不会有歧意吗?ETS有时候说which不能省，有没有什么判断的规则可以知道which要不要省略呢? 先谢谢了!

allowing是修饰sentece的。allowing分词，和which that都可以引导限定性定语从句（that不能引导非限定，ｗｈｉｃｈ可以引导非限定）。到底是用分词还是从句并没有绝对的判定法则。唯一确定的是，allowing修饰ｔｈｅ　ｎｅａｒｅｓｔ　ｎｏｕｎ，而ｔｈａｔ／ｗｈｉｃｈ有时可以跳跃修饰。
