请教 less & lesser 的区别

   LONGMAN上lesser可以作为形容词和副词，分别修饰名词和形容词

                       less可做副词和名词

    我认为lesser和less在作副词时，意思是一样的，只是固定用法不同

    不确定，大家讨论。。。

less与lesser还有一个重要区别就是lesser不能与than连用，而less可以。

仅是经验，作为副词时：

less可修饰动词，lesser不可修饰动词：如lesser-known中known 是过去分词作定语。
less可与than连用，lesser不可以与than连用－这条偶确定。
