主语是 The first trenches，BD 谓语动词 yields 是单数，排除
（2）修饰语-同位语/介词短语-evidence
这里 evidence 是指 societies arise 整件事，而不是 societies 这个东西，AD 接介词短语不好，排除
（3）修饰语-定语/定语从句-The first trenches
这里 cut 直接表示 trenches 被 cut，在这里，过去分词比定语从句简洁，且 having been cut 不是好的表达，ABC 都相对不好

B C D你自己能排除吧？ B D主谓都不一致，C选项修饰语错了，having done的修饰不能修饰名词，只能做状语修饰句子。就说A和E了。 E是正选我就不说了，说A。A最大的错误是它的语义错了，你把A和E对照在一起看，A说的是evidence for …… societies that …… 这些修饰都去掉，就相当于evidence for societies（社会的证据），句子要表达的是这个意思吗显然不是句子要表达的意思是evidence that societies arose simultaneously with but independently of（这个证据要证明的是社会不是和什么什么同时出现而是单独出现）必须要用同位语从句去修饰evidence 这样才能表达到底是什么的证据
