when it comes to the issue as to what are some most important qualitiies a supervisor should have.The majority of people think honesty,intelligence or a sense of humor should place in the first place,however,as far as I am concerned,I believe very strongly that to success in nowadays society,it is a must for people to have honesty and respecting others'characteristic,and supervusor is not an exception as well,I will ilustrate my pointview as follows.

In the first place,we all heard the proverb"Beauty is only skin-deep"meaning that the outward appearance is not a valuable way to judge a person's worth.So when we judge a person whether he has a good characteristic to succeed in nowadays society or not.We should consider some more deep stuff.Such as honesty,intelligence,sense of humor,etc.On the one hand,living in a country such as canada,you can do noting with out credit,for example if you have a bad reputation,you can't loan money from bank.On the other hand honesty,or credit,make the business activities more efficient.Taking the credit card system as an example,both individuals and companies get great benefits from that,because transactions are much more faster and safer.However,all these are based on the ground of honesty.

Secondly,due to the increasing impacts that economy globalization and information explosion has had on our society,respect is playing a more and more important role in the diverse modern society,even in a company.In a company,supervisor should respect persons who come from different countries,who has different religions.Just imagine what would be like if a supervisor look down up on a person who come from the different country or is not a christan?

Admittedly,there are not only honesty and respect others important,but also a good sence of humor or other factors should should be count in.Nevertheless,the merits of honesty and respecting carry more weight than that of others,becuase it is obvious that these precious attributes make our society survive and thrive well into the new century.
