2019年回来不得已编辑了 ^^回看一下觉得大家说的虽然harsh，但也不失道理。不过后来我还是考掉了G，也申请了还不错的学校，后面工作和待遇都还挺好的。所以结局还算圆满。

沒有的話, 直接回家洗洗睡, MBA is not for you.
肯收沒經驗的MBA都是四五六流, 別浪費爸媽的錢.

reality is harsh. it is sorry to hear that you had 忧郁症, but that doesn't mean you will be treated as if you did not had it.
既然好了, 建議你好好想想, 自己這一生最想干甚麼. career goal也. 不易的, 可能要工作一兩三年才有大概方向.

如果你說你喜歡讀書的, the problem here is: who paid for your study?
你成績夠好可以做research student(而且不需要你有corporate working experience), 但是一開始就打算走academic的路線的話, 申MBA? 傻的嗎?

P.S. 結論就是, 回家洗洗面, 睡多幾睡, 想清楚自己真正想做甚麼.

I think you made great achievement in knowing yourself and not afriaid of whatever happened to you. For any job , I think, it is a way for living only. While, live for something meaningful without barrier of financial is so admired! Think about what make you really feel meaningful! Depression is nothing and I am so happy that you gone through it! Now, that was a part of your past life! Can you do something about it? Think about found a small organization to help people in some situation and educate people including the second floor is a so encouraging story! However, if you already thought through that finance is something you interested and are ready to embrace , you also can go! Why not traveling to China, see smaller cities where people looks similar to you , speaking similar to you and have shy smiles ! You would be blessed! Back to China for a while and be empowered!

Sorry to be harsh but you probably won't have a chance at any MBA that is useful. And the MBA that you can get in are most likely useless. It's 2 years of your life and a lot of money, I would use them elsewhere if I were you.

How old are you now? Maybe forming a family is more important now.

读商学院最主要的是career goal。3.17的GPA应该可以用700+GMAT来弥补。毕业后的工作经历即便不写在essay中，填申请表的时候也会遇到。躲是躲不过的。其实美国人最欣赏诚实的人，有些事情木已成舟无法改变，不如花时间想一想如何解释这3年发生了什么，如果有些故事讲讲自己怎么走过这种逆境的，也可以很有说服力。但其实最重要的就是要有个清晰的计划，知道你自己要什么，为什么现在要去读书。要展现出你是可塑之才，这样才能被录取。

至于申请什么学校，我建议还是要看你毕业出来想做什么。选校必须要考虑将来career。如果楼主想向金融方向发展，就选金融方面出众的。Top30的学校足以找到个好工作了，但要是去了就业率很低的三流学校，这个学位可能不会帮到你很多。

或者楼主可以找份全职工作做个1-2年再回商学院也不晚。过程中，你会发现雇主在招专业工作的时候是如何考察候选人的。

Asian没有优势。尽管亚裔人口不多，但大多数美国亚裔都是中产以上，掌握了远大于人口比例的社会财富，亚裔学生学习成绩也出众，所以亚裔已经被美国社会排除在少数族裔之外。因为著名大学中亚裔学生比例都远超人口比例，所以排名靠前的学校针对亚裔的录取更加苛刻，被称为逆向歧视。（而且亚裔都不愿意拿公民、投票、参与政治，导致美国两党都不care亚裔）但楼主是女生，这个在商学院录取的时候是有优势的。

this is very common that Asian need a higher grade (e.g. SAT) to get admission from university when compared to others, like the black.

I also think MBA is not the right choice, since you don't have any full time W/E. As you said, some of the MBA students in the top programs have no experience as well, but it doesn't mean they have no real world experience. They probably owned their small start-ups or had other solid reasons for an MBA degree, which I didn't see in your experience. if you take a look at students at those top school requiring no full-time working experience (I assume you are talking about Harvard 2+2 or Yale silver scholar or equivalent level since only those schools have top programs for people with 0 full-time experience), they all have top internship (Investment Banking, Consulting, Tech etc) or outstanding extracurricular activities (world/national level, successful startup). Requiring no full-time working experience doesn't equal to no professional working experience

If you don't even know what you want to do, don't waste money on MBA. Apply for a specialized master in area you want to work.
