收到他们的奖学金，想问下如果不读mba的话还能享受奖学金吗
Congratulations!

You have been selected to receive a UT Dallas Naveen  Jindal School of Management Dean’s Excellence Scholarship for Fall 2014  semester. The scholarship committee believes that you will be an ideal candidate  for the dual MS-MBA program based on your academic achievement and work  experience (see link below).

To  secure your scholarship award, we ask that you agree to enroll in our dual  MS-MBA program. Please be advised that:

- This is not a commitment and  you are not obligated to complete the second degree (for example, MBA) at  all.
- Enrolling in the dual MS-MBA program will not affect your desire to  ONLY COMPLETE the MS or the MBA depending upon your preference.
- You may  cancel your dual degree after the completion of two long  semesters.

Scholarship Details
- $1,000 (one-time/non-renewal)  will be credited into your student account.
- Texas-resident status will  reduce your tuition by about 50% for the academic year (Fall 2014 and Spring and  Summer 2015).
- You MUST attend (no exception) the scholarship orientation on  August 22, 2014 at 03:30 PM.
- You are not eligible for this award if you  have earned any graduate credits from JSOM at any time prior to starting the  degree associated with this scholarship application.

How to Accept the  Scholarship Award
- You MUST ACCEPT or DECLINE this scholarship by visiting  the link below by March 21, 2014 (12 PM midnight).
- Failure to accept this  scholarship offer by the deadline will VOID the scholarship offer.

Useful  Information for International Students
The UT Dallas International Student  Services (ISSO) will be notified of your scholarship award. Be advised:
- You  can apply for a visa with your exiting I20.
- You do not need to add the dual  MS-MBA program to your I-20 until you arrive on campus.
- Contact ISSO (ISSOProspective@utdallas.edu<mailto:ISSOProspective@utdallas.edu>) if you need a  revised I20 that contains your scholarship information.

不读也可以的，我收到和楼主同样的email，专业也一样，不过details是- Texas-resident status will reduce your tuition by about 50% for the academic year (Spring and Summer 2015).

不知道是写漏了fall 2014还是奖只给了2015学年的。。。悲剧

同收到，申请后2天就答复了，而且要求3月21日之前accept，但我还在等其它学校，如果接受了可以不去吗？怎么办啊。。。早知道就不急着申请scholarship。。。

我也收到了MSA的但是州内学费减半国际生可以享受吗

作为UTD 毕业了的。。。奖学金的话，只要是有奖（那1000刀是实质的奖学金），就可以享受州内学费待遇，州内学费指的是50%OFF，所以一个学期9学分的话可以OFF 少说5000刀。
然后关于那个DUAL Degree，一般是MS+MBA，可以选择 1 连读，读完MBA之后才给MS+MBA的学位，读完之后才可以OPT（OPT重要性我就不说了哈，以后另外开坛说），也可以选择2 分开读，which means MBA可以读可以不读，但是你手里一直会握着MBA的OFFER，同时MS毕业之后就可以OPT，有毕业证。
目前UTD NJ 商学院大多数想在美国就业或者说有3-5年留美计划的同学（指非ITM 专业同学）都会选择入学之后转到ITM 或者读 ITM 双专业，好处就是ITM专业毕业生有29个月的OPT 时间（毕业之后可以在美国工作29个月），其他专业则是11个月。所以入学第一个学期尽量多去和ADVISOR交流，多多获取信息，很重要。
（卧槽！这中文现在说的这么生硬是怎么回事啊啊啊啊啊啊啊啊！）

哇好感谢！！！！！我是MSA专业纳闷为什么会拿到MS+MBA奖学金难道发奖都是这个格式....
前辈啊请问UTD到底就业机会怎么样啊？？和纽约比起来怎么样？？因为我不是牛人所以很怕去纽约拼不过人家...然后浪费那么多钱回国了实在是接受不能.....UTD有奖的话就更便宜了而且听说中国人多所以有些中国人公司会给full-time offer只要你自己出sponsor的钱到底有没有这事儿？因为我只听说德州有这事，不知道纽约芝加哥等是不是也有这等后路，如果是德州特有的后路的话我是觉得挺适合我这种非牛人万一被逼到绝境的时候.....
还有请问如果读MS+MBA需要几年？会比单单MSA出来容易找到工作吗？ITM是什么？MSA转过去会不会很难？读双专很累吧不知道能不能读完MSA再读ITM 如果金钱允许的话.......求前辈赐教！！！感激不尽啊！
