Cornell拿到MBA的AD，有升职还要不要读

拿到Cornell的MBA，但是公司有升职机会，觉得这个升职不论对于未来职业发展还是MBA毕业后找工作都有很大的帮助。所以在考虑两个问题。
1.Cornell能否接受defer一年？有没有知道先例？
2.因为今年是4月才考的Gmat，所以只申请了Cornell和Yale两所学校，所以在想如果明年继续申请的话可能能申请到M7.但是因为我的background不是很牛，所以又怕明年会一无所获。大家觉得我该重申吗？

我的问题可能有点幼稚，但是希望有人能给我解答，谢谢了！

你是在IB升到VP

还是说在淘宝点里面升了高级店小二

I was in a similar situation before, and decided to go to school. It is a personal choice but an MBA is worth more when you achieve it early. I don't think schools typically defer applicants because they know that you will apply to other schools next year. In addition, when you get your promotion and apply next year, you are one year older, so most likely the Adcoms will treat that as part of your natural career progression, so I am not sure how much points it would add. Plus, when you accept a promotion, it is best to stay in that role for a few years before you leave, otherwise you might burn bridges.

As history has indicated, the MBA application market gets hotter every year, so this is ultimately a gut level choice you will have to make for yourself.

Thank you so much, I read ur post, seems u chose Cornell over ucla. Any particular reason, could you share what u do now and how do u think of cornell now?

Sure, I am in Consulting right now. I chose Cornell over UCLA mainly because my parents are on the east coast, so I decided to come back to the east coast. So location wise it worked out, and also I was fortunate to receive a scholarship package from Cornell so it made a lot of sense. I would do it over again if I had the choice.

Honestly you have to make the decision yourself here it seems like. No one knows what the future might look like so it is really up to you on whether you would like to take the chance next year. The promotion could help, but you don't know who else might be applying next year.
