题目：Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Improving education is the most important thing in the development of a country.
As the magnificent development of the modern society, education is one of the main pillars of a prosperous society, and school plays a crucial role in it. But still, many people hold that improving schools is not the most effective factors for a successful development. However, I am amazed when hear people say so; my opinion is quite the opposite-improving schools in the most important factor both for education and the development of our society.
The first step on the road is to clarify the importance of the education, which will also leads to the importance of improving schools. "The responsibility and obligation that education carries is to impart to the young generation sufficient qualities and abilities to settle down themselves in society.'' This famous remark by a well-know educator in my country implies how essential it is the education can be, which can also refer the significance of the school improvement. The example of my high school matches my point of view perfectly--My high school is the second largest school in Asia which has 320,000 square meters with beautiful buildings and two large playgrounds, one for basketball and one for soccer. With the beautiful environment and excellent facilities, both the teachers and the students work hard and nearly fifty students go to Tsinghua and Peking University every year, which is absolutely a great success. Once not having such great efforts in improving the school, our students will have hard time learning, our school will have a hard time making these achievements and the society might have a hard time without the brilliant students from the school.
Besides, another issue why improving school is so essential is that schools are the fundamental of the education by supplying facilities and helping to improve the whole citizens' quality. In more specific, it is vital not only to enlarge the number of the schools, but also meaningful to enhance school's facilities. Statistic figures from a recent survey revealing that greatly has over 70% of the teachers have benefit from the utilize of the computer can also support my side. With the survey, clearly can we see the improvement of the schools facilities contributes to the education and it should not be neglected.
Granted, improving schools is not a panacea for a country's development and many other factors still remain. For instance, promoting the economy development, offering more job opportunities and encouraging innovations can also be meaningful. Nonetheless, my answer to this problem is that as human is the subject of the society, a country cannot develop successfully without well-educated person from a perfect school Therefore, it is now clear that the idea of improving schools being the most important factor should be condone rather than condemned while many of us are still uniformed, poorly-informed of misinformed about the facts mentioned above.
In a nutshell, it is arguable that improving schools is the most important factor for the reason that it is essentially important and can improve the basic installation. Once we have kept these facts in mind, there will be no challenge too great and no mission too hard on the way to judge which factor to choose. If there is anyone out there who still wondering if improving the school is so essential, who still doubt whether school improvements can benefits the country, and who still questions about the value, this passage is the answer.
