[求助]确认一个简单的语法点be limited to.（已更新）

sth be limited to应该是固定搭配，不能说sth be limited by吧；刚模了一套PRINCETON，一个语法题的正确选项是be limited by,其他的没有差别就是这个by和to不一样，我选be limited to，错了。答案是E，AB的processor有修饰institutions之嫌，因此错了。但是它还说这里应该用be limited by，估计意思是这样。我就想知道be limited to/by的区别和具体判定方法是什么，谢谢指教。

很怄气的是数学中有两个答案明显错了，害得分数极度打击偶自信心（660），princeton这班小白！；

最后再问一下，princeton里的逻辑是13个，可是我记得应该是11个逻辑呀；天山9也是13个逻辑，做得特别累，555

另： A. skin tissue is more resistant to toxic subtances than lung tissue and uses...

         B. skin tissue is more resistant to toxic subtances than is lung tissue and uses...

题目就不用贴出来了吧，区别只在那个is. 我觉得be不是可以省略，这样A更简洁，可为什么princeton给的答案是B呢。 谢谢指教

我认为还是有be limited by这样的语法现象的，就是被什么所限制。

这个...be limited to也是被什么限制，受制于什么的意思吧

1. 这里想表达的是：能力没有被速度所限制，如果用be limited to则意思不对。

这里有三条注解，无论哪条用在这儿都逻辑不通。

2. A会产生歧义：

是skin tissue is more resistant to toxic subtances than (skin tissue is resistant to )lung tissue

还是skin tissue is more resistant to toxic subtances than lung tissue (is resistant to toxic subtances)
