这题原来讨论有人说：as much as+任何名词做主语都是单数形式？请问这在语法中有例证么？谢谢！

11.(416) In the most common procedure for harvesting forage crops such as alfalfa, as much as 20 percent of the leaf and small-stem material, which is the most nutritious of all the parts of the plant, shattered and fell to the ground.

(A) which is the most nutritious of all the parts of the plant, shattered and fell

這一題真是设计很巧妙
语法上
(1) X % of Y 动词随Y走
(2) as much as 修饰%，强调数字
(3) A and B连接两个名词是复数动词，但是这里连两个adj.修饰material，注意这个字没有写materials，所以要用单数动词

那为什么D中“(D) the most nutritious parts of the plant, shatters and falls（D）" 用“parts”而不是“part”呢

But I have a problem with D. If "leaf and small-stem material" is
singular, then I think it would be better for the following appositive
to be singular also: "the most nutritious part of the plant."

第一，as much as 注定了谓语用单数

第二，the most nutritious parts of the plant前后都有逗号，很清楚的说明这是the leaf and small-stem material的同位语，既然主语是前面的as much as...，后面的谓语当然用单数形式

注意：主语和同位语不需要搭配，同位语和谓语也不需要搭配，只有主语和谓语需要搭配
