答案是B,

两个问题：
1. Elvis Presley and Jerry Garcia，whose music differed significantly from his own ,这里whose不会有歧义吗？一个是同时修饰EP和JG，还有一个理解是whose只修饰JG，像“A and B，修饰语”这一类的修饰我总是不能判断什么时候歧义了？

2.E中，Elvis Presley and Jerry Garcia，whose music was significantly different from that of是不是错在his own已经能够替代music而不用加that of？

1.A and B,which等的修饰原则就是没有歧义。我对这句话的理解就是，如果which可以指代前面两个不同的，有两种语义就是有歧义；但是在这里，我觉得根据句子意思应该把Elvis Presley and Jerry Garcia看成一个整体，就没有歧义了。
这里是我前几天看一个大神总结的，摘给你：
A and B,which有歧义：
As and Bs,which are(不知是As 还是Bs);A and Bs，which are（不知Bs还是 A and Bs)
无歧义： A and B, which are; A and B, which is; As and B, which is ;A and Bs, which together are;As and Bs, which together are.

2.his own 和that of 重复了

我觉得这道题最重要的考点就是，动词优于形容词，在manhattan上也有写，influence 优于 be influential to. 所以我看完每个选项的开头就觉得十有八九就是B了。然后，后面也是differ 优于be different from ， inspire 优于 be inspiration 所以基本确定是B了。E在这三处都错了，that of 也重复了。

我看了你的想法也觉得whose这里有歧义。。。。但是觉得B还是更加优于其他选项。
之前我看过一题专门考这种歧义，最后答案的形式就是 A, whose ........., and B................

另外，这题我又看了下，我觉得这里的whose是用来修饰musicians的，这样就不会有任何歧义了。
你觉得这样想怎么样？

我是怕万一换一个考点很隐蔽的题目出现，想看看这类歧义的问题要怎么处理来着。
另外 manhattan上说的这个VAN原则我用的时候总是很担心，因为manhattan说简洁原则是相对性原则要最后使用，所以我一般都是先找找看其他明显错误然后再来用这个。。。。。。

以前我都没有这么想过，原来是这样！因为前面,...,之间本来就是musicians的修饰语，我前几天总结跳跃修饰说前面有介词、分词等修饰语的时候可以跳过，修饰核心词~这么理解的话就很对了！因为,....,之间也是修饰musicians的修饰语嘛
