各位大牛，烦请指点一下这篇essay的答题要点究竟是什么？实在不确定

The mission of XXXXX Business School isto advance knowledge and develop leaders so as to serve business and society.Discuss how you will contribute toward advancing themission based on examples of past work and activities.*(Maximum 1800 characters)
请问这篇essay的答题要点是不是要用我们以往的leadership或者体现其它有益经验的example来说明我们录取后这些example可以分享给其它同学，从而带来contribution 给Business School？其实也就是请申请者给出leadership或者其它有益经验的examples？但是如果用examples讲带来的contribution，且字数仅限于1800个字母，实在是捉襟见肘，一般一个饱满的例子就差不多1800个字母了，只举一个例子的话，也就只能说明带来一点contribution。可是只是觉得我能带来好几个方面的分享经历。
如果我的审题有问题，那正确的题目含义又是什么？还请大牛们指点，谢谢

Here's my take:

The mission of XXXXX Business School is to advance knowledge and develop leaders so as to serve business and society.Discuss how you will contribute toward advancing the mission based on examples of past work and activities.*(Maximum 1800 characters)

P=paragraph

P1: I will contribute by doing x and y.

P2: detailed example of x. show leadership example at work. end with one or two sentences on how would this apply to your study at school.

P3: detailed example of y. show another leadership example outside of work (or at another type of work). end with one or two sentences on how to apply to your learning.

P4: sum up. One or two sentences.

我还有一点不明白，这里的contribute指的只是学校时对于classmates的contribution?而不涉及到你接受教育后达到你的long-term goal而在自己身上实践了该mission时的contribution？

don't over think it, they are asking for leadership example at work and outside of work. You should then use just a sentence or two to tie your example to contribution in the class.

Hey there,
Thanks for writing. So the question is - How will you contribute in the FUTURE not just to the school, but also to BUSINESS and SOCIETY, using your past experience as a PROOF that you can do this. I think that the best way to approach this story (and don't be fooled, 1800 words is a LOT!!!!) is to choose your 4-5 best experiences with the best results, to tell these stories in the essay, and after EACH story to come to a conclusion on how you will contribute in the future. For example, let's say that your best management experience was training a team of 100. You can show how you will become a master of training others, and how by doing so in the future, you will bring the firm to new heights, thus promoting the school's mission.
