A. Correct；it完全指代the global economy，并不特指1990到2000年之间的global economy

小菜有个问题，关于it指代问题~
我记得prep上说it是完全指代，也就是说，包括修饰核心词的修饰语~那么对于A的这个时间段，我一直认为这个包含在“修饰核心词的修饰语”中，所以我就把A排除了。。。但是错了。。。这是为什么呢，这个时候为什么时间修饰就不是修饰语了呢？

1，小菜对于C&D没区分开~
虽然prep上的解释说，as early as the eighteenth century是修饰前句的，但是这怎么就不能修饰method呢，而且拿什么说这个时间状语是修饰前句而不是修饰别的名词呢~

2，prep上的解释说well established做非限定性修饰逻辑含义错误，这个怎么理解？

呀，对于第一道题的问题，小菜貌似自己明白了~
我先写在这里~

it的确是完全指代~而对于这题，其实之前的困惑完全可以用A和D这两个选项自问自答~

A，Between 1990 and 2000 the global economy grew more than it did
(it指代：the global economy )

D,The growth of the global economy between 1990 and 2000 exceeds what it has been
（it指代：The growth of the global economy between 1990 and 2000）

这是prep的解释，我摘抄出来~
那是不是可以这样理解：放在句首的时间状语是修饰整句的（严谨一些说，是在连词and前），所以这个时间状语不包含在修饰核心词的范围内~

而对于D的这种情况而言，“ between 1990 and 2000 ”是在核心词与谓语之间，那么很显然，这个就是修饰核心词的修饰语~

所以，这样一来，就不难理解为什么A选项中的it没有包含时间状语~~~

还有一个问题是小菜突然想到的：
prep中有说：“the growth of sth. was不如sth. grew简洁；from when agriculture began to 1950的不如from the beginning of agriculture to 1950好”

那么我想问，像这样简洁性的问题，是不是最后考虑？
也就是说，如果正确答案里面有类似“the growth of sth. was或者from when agriculture began to 1950”的结构，那么可以忽略不计吧，因为这只是简洁与否而已~？

还有一个问题，就是prep里面待商榷的东东：介词+when~~~这种结构一出现就错？？？

另外我有个问题，对于198这道题，为什么A选项的两个一般过去时都是正确的呢，这两个动作不是先后发生，应该用过去完成时的么？
