正确答案是d。但我不明白为什么前面那么多个tidal wave， tsunami，seismic sea这些名词，后面的is caused而不是are caused.

“Often incorrectly referred to as a tidal wave”是“a tsunami”的修饰语。“a seismic sea wave ”是“a tsunami”的同位语，“that...“是“a seismic sea wave ”的定语。所以“a tsunami”是is的主语，其它名词都是用来修饰“a tsunami”的。
