有关so as to用法的一道题，求解释

亲们，今天做了一道关于so as to 用法的题，但是我不是太明白，求帮助！
In 1527 King Henry VIII sought to have his marriage to Queen Catherine annulled so as to marry Anne Boleyn.
A.so as to marry
B. and so could be married to
C. to be married to
D.so that he could marry
E.in order that he would marry
答案给的是D，但是我觉得D把原句变成了两个句子，没有A简洁性，so as to在这里不都是承接前面谓语动词的同一个主语吗？为什么错误了呢？答案说因为主句不是系表结构，所以不能又so as to,谁能告诉我so as to有什么用法规定啊？
另外有一道题：As a result of medical advances, many people that might at one time have died as children of such infections as diphtheria, pneumonia,or rheumatic fever now live well into old age.
A.that might at one time have died as children
B.who might once have died in childhood
C.that as children might once have died
D.who in childhood might have at one time died
E.who,when they were children, might at one time have died
答案给的是B，我刚开始选的也是B但是后来想了一下die of可能不能插进去in childhood吧？如果那样的话，of限制的应该是childhood了吧？但是句意应该是die of...
后来我改成了D，但是答案说at one time有歧义，因为它有once之外的其他意思，所以不对。。。亲们，怎么解释啊？？？

有歧义是at one time died如果把at one time 放在have前面，那么就没有歧义了。

上面那道题XDF上课讲的时候是说so as to这么用的话会有歧义，因为不知道是king还是queen去marry Anne Boleyn
so...as to 的用法在prep08 语法的174题有一些讲解
下面那道题里，once严格优于at one time
