求NN给解释下verbal review第53题的OG对C选项的解释~

SVO and，——后面应该是加句子，所以要求有第二对S+V,但是像D这种情况，comma的作用其实是用于隔开插入语部分，再加上decide和前面的examine的主语是一样的，所以就省略了，直接decide就可以了。。。。。
C选项，首先and后面都不是句子，用and无法与前面形成并列关系。（一看就是结构混乱）
D选项，直接用decide，发起者与前面保持一致

it seems that this explanation should give to answer choie A


if and is preceded by a comma,   it will make sense to say that


but that is not the case in choice C

选是选对了，但对og的解释实在不解。

OG对C选项的解释：By using the coordinating conjunction and, this version of the sentence creates the need for a second subject and main verb; this second subject is absent. The participle deciding cannot function as a main verb.

也就是说，即使换成decide，C项还是不对，因为缺second subject。
但C、D应该是一样的结构啊，为什么C就缺而D不缺呢？是因为in using的缘故吗？实在是想不通....召唤NN！！

og就是说这里deciding不能作为谓语，哪里说变成decide也不对了？？？？？in using就是个插入语，那他后面要不然就加一个句子，要不然就加一个同主语的谓语动词。。。我就是这么理解的。。。不用太纠结了吧亲。。。。你知道and后面应该怎么用就ok啦。。。。这里只有D是正确的啊。。
