答案是：D。

既然是要找原因，我觉得fallen grain prices 要好一些啊~ fallen grain prices应该是说已经下降的价格吧~
falling grain prices 一直在降的价格？
我觉得这个纯粹靠个人理解的感觉。。。

求助~ORZ。。。

那有没有关于这种的知识点？就是-ING和-ed做形容词的各种用法这块的~ 我记得原来好像在哪看过什么的。。。~

我能想起来的是ing多用来形容物 the book is interesting
ed多用来形容人； I am interested in the book

拿刚才的例子；fallen women 堕落的女人，
死亡的士兵。

别的一下子想不起来，可能看到例子才能想起来

我觉得这题可以这么看，during 1980's是一个延续的时间段，他们面对的困难一定是在这一个时间段持续下降的价格，故用falling~

对现在分词进行中嘛，
但是fallen应该不用来修饰price我在谷歌里一搜fallen price 自动调整成falling price了就。
fallen只有一个词条对应的是fallen leaves别的就是上边我说的了
