求助GWD语法题一道

GWD6-Q41:

Thegreatest road system built in the Americas prior to the arrival of Christopher Columbuswas the Incan highway, which, over 2,500 miles long and extending fromnorthern Ecuador through Peru to Southern Chile.

这道题选E，但是我觉得E选项前半句明显不完整啊。。我最后选的是B觉得也没啥错，看不懂GWD笔记的解释

关于B项我是这么理解的，问题出在, over 2,500 miles in length, 这个词组作为修饰词应该紧跟preceding noun无逗号，这里用逗号隔开，那么就需要用comma+which的结构了；

这句话主干是：The greatest road system was over 2,500 miles long，

built in……过去分词修饰前面名词
extending 修饰可以整个句子；也可以修饰主语。

这样一分就感觉很清楚了。
