我觉得这题还是出在逻辑意思上， he is extremely modest and his poetry is unpublished.两件事是同时发生的。但是从逻辑意思上来说，他应该先谦虚，后不出版他的书籍。所以表达上把后半句的时态改为将来时更好一些。所以就有了C， he is extremely modest and with his poetry remaining unpublished.他是非常谦虚的人，不会出版诗集。
