There is a old saying that : Everything isready while only the chances pass by. Many people agree on that eachopportunity should be seized regardless of risk. Meanwhile, the opposite voiceadvocates that people should undertake risky action only after they havecarefully considered its consequence. Which one fits the world better? In myopinion, we should consider the risk before we take action ,while we may havethe courage to challenge when ignoring some risk.

   Onthe one hand, considering twice before taking action is a right that We maypreclude problems in advance and avoid much danger. For instance, when meetingsomeone drown in the water, we should consider the ability of ourselves;otherwise we may add trouble if we jump to the river without the ability toswim. What’s more, taking consequences before we make decision, such as investingor choosing the career, contributes to the higher possibility to success.

On the other hand, we are known about that everything contains riskand opportunity at the same time. Considering too much may make us miss thechance which will never comes back. Sometimes, the chance is like the meteorthat passes by so fast that we are not allowed to think too much

At the same time, the more we think about, the less courage we havewhich is always needed in doing something. There is a famous experiment thatsome people are asked to cross the bridge in dark. All of them can cross itwhen they have nothing about what is under the bridge. When some light is givenso that people can see crocodile lies under the bridge, more than half of themare feared to cross the bridge anymore. When the light is all on that peoplecan see the whole things very clearly, people are all amazed to find thatactually there is a glass floor above the crocodile. The experiment tells usthat sometimes we may lose the courage to move on when knowing the risk, whilewe may accomplish the task perfectly when we are not very clear about the realdanger.

To sum up, at most time we should consider the consequences beforewe undertake risky actions. After all , safety is most important. And thedecision may be wiser after thinking twice. While we may allowed to take riskdoing something ignoring possible negative consequence. Maybe it is for we takethe risk that we success finally.
