1. has the ease of cooking improved life ?
The procedure of preparing food is becoming easier these days since the rapid development of food technology ,which exhibit a new revolution of food industry ,however ,does the ease of cooking actually improve life ? admittedly , in some cases the ease do save much time and make it more flexible for people to make arrangement as well as dramatically improved the efficiency of food industry ,unfortunately ,this kind of efficiency generally ignores demands of some people in varieties of aspect and in my opinion I deeply doubt the ease of cooking could improve life .
In the first place, you have to face the reality that cooking is a kind of art in some particular groups of people such as the housewife and cooks ,for them, cooking is not just a tool for living but a really activity full of joys and excitement , for example , my mother is a typical housewife ,normally she deals with all kinds of housework including cooking , and in particular she told me that cooking is the only joy she could feel while doing all these stuffs and that when the cooking is finished she could feel a sense of fulfillment and happiness ,if it is true that at some time in the future everyone could just swallow a pill to get all the nutrition and energy for living ,I just cannot image how the life of people like my mothers could be .
Secondly ,regardless of such groups of the housewife and cooks , even ease of cooking is accepted as a nice betterment , it is not guaranteed that people take it as a way of improving life ,the fact is that except for particular groups the ease of cooking really makes no big difference to most people ,normally , how much time or how difficult it is for you to cook affects in a neglected way to influence your life. Life is so colorful not just about cooking , people get lots of things to do to improve their life such as realizing a goal ,helping others who are in trouble and travelling to different places. For example , a business man is always occupied in their jobs and promising future ,whether cooking is easy or not is even the least thing he would care about!
In conclusion ,I firmly believe that the ease of cooking does not necessarily improve out life despite the convenience in some cases it provide based on the two reasons discussed above .
