a letter from Stern about application status

前天写了两封信，因为我交了银子但website上仍然写我的status是not submitted。于是就有了下面这封信。不过也可能大家都收到了这封信。。。不管怎样，那些和我一样遭遇的人不必太担心被Stern涮了。

My name is Isser Gallogly, and I am the Director of Full-time MBA Admissions
at the NYU Stern School of Business.  We have received your application and
are preparing it for review by the Admissions Committee.  In the meantime, I
want to let you know how our admissions process works from this point
forward.

Application Status Updates
We will inform you of any updates to your application via email, and you can
also check the status of your application online at any time. Log on to our
Status Check Website by visiting http://applicant.stern.nyu.edu/statuscheck/
and enter the following information:
After signing in for the first time, we encourage you to change your
password.  To do this, please visit our website at
http://applicant.stern.nyu.edu/pswd/.  lease make a note of your password
in a safe place, as you will need it to access information online throughout
the admissions process.

Our Application Review Process
Your application status is currently "Applicant".

Once all your supplemental materials have been received and processed, your
status will change to "With Committee".  At this time, your application will
be presented to the Admissions Committee for review.  It may take several
days for this status change to happen.  If your application is complete by
the deadline, you will receive a notification no later than the notification
date (see below).

If your application is incomplete, you will be informed via email. If you do
not complete the application by the deadline, we cannot guarantee
notification by the notification date and notification may take up to 12
weeks once it becomes complete.

Our application review process is holistic, and we take great care in
evaluating each application in its entirety.  Stern uses a rolling
admissions process: we evaluate applications in order of their receipt and
completion and provide notifications on an ongoing basis.

Notification
If your application was complete by the deadline, you will receive
notification no later than the notification date.  You will be emailed when
your status has been updated on the Application Status Check Website.

Initial notification possibilities are as follows:
Interview invitation
Offer of a place on the waitlist
Denial of admission

The admissions interview plays an important role in ensuring that the Stern
community continues to comprise exceptional individuals.  Therefore, an
offer of admission is rarely made prior to "Interview Invitation."

To protect your privacy, we do not release initial notifications via email,
telephone, fax or mail.

Interviews
If the Admissions Committee invites you to interview, you will receive the
invitation and scheduling information via email.   Interviews are by
invitation only.

We recommend that applicants invited to interview do so at Stern or at one
of our off-site interview locations.  lease use the visit to learn more
about Stern by attending a tour and information session, visiting a class,
and meeting current students, as well as seeing New York City and Greenwich
Village.

After the interview, it typically will take up to three weeks to receive a
decision.  You will receive an email indicating your status has changed, and
you can review your new status on the Application Status Website.
