答案是B。但我感觉B选项并不平行啊虽然E选项时态不对求大神解答拜谢

B项里的were与现在的are形成了一个时态上的对比。

E项和B项的结构其实是一样的，只是E项因为have been前后一样就省略了后面的，B项因为were和are前后形式不一致，所以补出了they are。

这就需要从语义层面来考虑：

首先disturbing to 优于 disturbing in。排除cde. 从AB选，破折号号后解释前半个句子，用复数were，比较时态不一样，一样平行。另外此句不可能是过去完成时--表示对现在没影响。很明显是有影响的。所以在AB里选
