为什么第二空不选F项呢？

这题第二空的选项只能是支持或者使关系不清晰，不可能是中和关系。这个中文意思都说不过去。因为有even though，又与前面所说的正向关系相反，所以只能选obscure。我想你还是需要再看看整句话的意思。

neutralize:To counterbalance or counteract the effect of; render ineffective. 使抵消，使无效

主要是考虑到neutralize的这层含义，感觉也适合啊
