OG186的平行问题

OG解释上是以members of the jury为主语进行平行,"go home" and "be confined to a hotel",请问能否以motion为主语进行平行,"to allow members of the jury to go home at the end of each day rather than confine them to a hotel",如果可以的话,rather than后面是用confine还是to confine

我觉得可以，一般会省略to。

我觉得不对,因为不符合逻辑

motion allow合理,但motion confine就不合理了,好象说这个motion能限制人身自由一样
