empire 不是应该用him指代么，为什么用it？

是啊，开始我也看到这个有点疑惑，不过后来也看了下Manhattan论坛，也没有人提到这个问题，所以后来我自己理解为it应该可以指代这种称谓吧，既然题目这么用了，暂时如此理解。请问一下有没有更明白这个问题的nn给解释解释啊

it指代empire 帝国，不是emperor 帝王
